Feeling Tired

I have this weird feeling of boredom today. Just full boredom. I don't know why. I should be working but I can't seem to figure out what to do next. It’s like my mind is blank right now …

I had so many things that I wanted to write about, but didn’t find the time in the past week. And now I can’t seem to remember anything.

I have been trying to figure out what happened in the past week and maybe get some of the ideas to emerge from the dark oceans in my brain, but I can’t remember that either..

No I haven’t smoked anything.

I actually get these fuzzy days regularly.

‘3rd what did you have for dinner yesterday..?’ No idea!

There is one thing though. A good friend of mine had an abortion. How awful. I feel quite sick about it. I felt very strange talking to her. I saw she was in pain emotionally as well as physically so I basically only comforted her. But I actually wanted to tell her she shouldn’t have done it, and that it was just insane to kill a life. I get tired thinking about it. It just drains me. How sick is abortion anyway.

Good on you for biting your tongue 3rd. The time for talking someone out of abortion is before, not after. It's just terribly sad: our society's double standards on 'choice' and 'freedom'; that so many unwanted pregnancies happen; that women and children are so often abandoned by the father; that a human life is cut short before it even had a chance. It's all just so sad. Not much else to say is there.

Now it's too late, but I have to be insanely honest with you. Unless she repents fully, I could NEVER look at her again. I know she was struggling, but boy that's not a friend I would want. Third, I hate to bring in my view and I'm biased, but if it was just a morning after pill "abortion" fine. But, no Muslima should be allowed to have a full-on abortion suck the baby into a sink, and still count you among their friends. Just my opinion, and I'm sorry if I offended you. I just really see red on that issue.

Again I hate to interject, but it would be hard for me were I you. Love you.

3rd didn't say if her friend was Muslim did she? Lisa I see where you're coming from. If one of my close Christian friends had an abortion and was unrepentant about it, I couldn't just turn a blind eye either. But straight after the event may not be the time to challenge her about this. I don't know. There's a time for rebuking someone and a time for just sitting alongside them in their sorrow. May 3rd have the wisdom to know the difference.

My friend doesn't believe at all.. Her family are all atheists, she's kinda out there, thinking there are signs and there is more than we can see, but believing in God is just strange to her.

I know this is old, but I wanted to point out that even if she is Muslim, abortion is not such a bad thing before 120 days, when Islamic teachings dictate the soul is present. Do not be judgmental.
