Off-topic

I am out of town again for work.. :s and I had the opportunity to visit a spa here. Very beautiful old building with awesome hot baths. It's one of those places where men and women have separate area's, which I think is just perfect. I never go to places where men and women mix.. I feel watched and uncomfortable. An exclusive women's area gives me a sense of freedom and ease...

Well, it turned out some ladies felt way too free..

The young girls were decent, with bathing suits or bikini's. But the older ladies just had to fully express their sense of liberation I guess..
so there were absolutely liberatedto be admired all over. And every time one of them came towards me I felt all my toes curl up in absolute horror.
And while I came to the spa for relaxtion after a day of travel, I ended up just focusing on the distance between me and the "freedom fighters" and trying to anticipate what their next move would be. I try to be forgiving though, after all they are from the hippy generation.. you have to judge people in the correct context... :p

LMAO I'm not from the hippie generation, but if it were all women I'd probably be letting it all hang out too...stretch marks and floppy tatas and all. I guess I am just a hippie at heart...

I guess you'll never go to a spa with ME now huh?! Ha!

LOL! Sounds like the Euro tourist on the beaches of Thailand! One time I had the distinct displeasure of seeing a man well into his 70s (or older) in a banana-hammock THONG! It was bad enough from the front but when he turned around and I saw the full (and fading) moon.... Yikes!

PM'd comment reminded me of the time my husband and I were in the Carribean Island of St. Martin...we once saw a couple walking on the beach...well into their 70's...let's put it this way she had a set of D cup 16 year old silicone knockers, on display for the world to see...but everything else was sagging and bagging...her husband had on the thong...the view from behind was UGGGGGHHHHHH

I say "Whoo-Hoo" to all those who are secure enough not to be ashamed of their bodies. I've worked in the spa industry for several years and it's amazing how many people fail to see the organic-ness of the experience. Services offered at spas are about putting the client in touch with their body, mind and spirit. If you have a problem accepting one you're also impacting the other two negatively.

What I find interesting is that you're willing to share your husband with multiple wives, yet seeing a naked woman makes your toes curl. I can only imagine what you must have to process when thinking about the intimacy between the other wives and your husband.

The human body is amazing and beautiful regardless of size, shape or age.

"Anonymous" one can be accepting of his/her body without having to "bless" others with all its "splendors". If you need to take off your clothes to be accepting of your body, please, do it in the privacy of your own home.

As for your amazement at "The Third"'s reaction: Have you not noticed that she is a Christian? A Christian can (and should be) accepting of polygyny; however, a Christian should not be accepting of indecency.

You might now be asking yourself: Why should a Christian be accepting of polygyny?

1) It helps better fulfil the Dominion Mandate.

2) It provides more helpers for the husband in the family.

3) It better fosters the sacrificial love that Christ has called us to.

4) It is a better witness to the world of the love by which Christians will be recognized by the world as Christ's disciples.
